Vegeta is one of the best written characters in the Dragon Ball universe. He really showed great character development and captured our hearts. Never accepting that he's just a supporting character, he's worked himself to the bone and his transformations are here to prove it.
He puts in the hard work and refuses to back down, and his transformations show the long journey he's come from arrogant, selfish Saiyan prince to one of the strongest characters in the franchise.

1. Vegeta without transformations was still going strong
Even without epic transformations, Vegeta could scream. He was strong even by the standards of his royal bloodline. When he arrived on Earth, Vegeta easily overpowered Goku who was using Kaioken.
You can imagine his raw strength if he were able to defeat an enhanced version of the protagonist.
2. Oozaru Form: Vegeta's very first transformation
The Saiyan race has the special power to transform into an oversized monkey and this form is activated when seeing a full moon, werewolf much? It is related to Blutz waves produced by sunlight reflected from the moon. In this form, the user's powers are greatly increased.
After being overpowered by Goku, Vegeta decides to transform. In this state, he completely overpowers Goku and almost kills him.
Unlike Goku, who completely loses his autonomy and goes into rage mode, Vegeta was able to keep a level head. He also showed that his enormous form doesn't prevent him from moving quickly, which surprised Goku. His one-sided attack was only ended after Yajirobe cut off his tail.
3. The long-awaited Super Saiyan
Vegeta always pursued the Super Saiyan powers, he was plagued with arrogance and jealousy. His only motivation was, "If Kakarot could get this form, why can't I?". To awaken his powers, he trained under 450 times gravity to no avail.
Just in the moment he gave up, he let go, and he was able to achieve what he longed for, what an irony, isn't it? However, I think most of us can relate to this, the more we draw, the more things escape. Sometimes letting go is the solution. Um, sorry for the philosophical break!
Getting back on topic, Vegeta was able to attain Super Saiyan when the androids appeared. He effortlessly overwhelmed her with his new powers and was found to have surpassed Goku during that time.
I. Vegeta becomes super vegetarian
After training in the hyperbolic time chamber and listening to Trunks' beautiful monologues, Vegeta finally made itSecond Class Super Saiyan.This is not a separate form but an extension of Super Saiyan.
He was able to understand a few nuances of the Super Saiyan mode and perfect it a bit more. He knew not to inflate himself, which was the cause of the power leak. He transformed into this mode and we could see that the shockwaves created were destroying the landscape.
In this form, he was easily able to overpower Semi-Perfect Cell, but later lost due to his overconfidence. We don't see this form either, as Goku realized his weak points.
4. The Evilest Form: Majin Vegeta enters!
Vegeta trains himself until he reaches 500 times the gravity of Earth. However, upon glimpsing Goku's powers, he lets jealousy take over and allows Babidi to take control of him.
The dark forces awakened the sleeping evil in Vegeta's heart and this Saiyan prince turned evil. His innate strength was enhanced and he became all the more powerful. He was able to easily take on Goku's Super Saiyan 2 powers.
In later stages, when he fought Majin Buu, he couldn't hold a candle to him and finally decided to sacrifice himself.
5. Angry Vegeta becomes Super Saiyan 2
Vegeta trains harder until the maximum gravity setting no longer affects him. He unlocks his Super Saiyan 2 mode during his battle with Beerus, the God of Destruction after beating Bulma.
We see that Vegeta is angry and we know how much he cares for his wife. It was almost impossible to believe how much this selfish Saiyan prince changed and started caring for others.
After the power-up, Vegeta Landa had a few hits on The God of Destruction. This feat is truly remarkable as even Super Saiyan 3 Goku failed to do it.
6. Vegeta becomes a Saiyan beyond God
It is an empowered state of the Saiyan who can harness the powers of the Super Saiyan God without having to change his form.
Despite what the name might imply, it does not bestow the user with god-like powers, but allows them to sense divine ki. This state is like a prelude to the actual form of the Super Saiyan God. This state also requires absolute ki control to maintain, which could prove challenging.
7. Pushing His Limits Vegeta achieves Super Saiyan Blue
Super Saiyan Blue is a transformation that allows the user to access the power of God. It is the successor to Super Saiyan and is immensely powerful.
After training with Goku, Vegeta unlocks this form and is easily able to knock off the gold, Golden Frieza, quite literally.
He also fought Goku Black and was able to overpower him in his base form. However, the tide turned when Black transformed into Super Saiyan Ross. After training in the hyperbolic time chamber, he was finally able to defeat his enemy.
I. Super Saiyan Blue (Perfected)
Vegeta challenges Beerus to a fight in which he is initially annihilated until he reveals he can use a perfected form of Super Saiyan Blue.
However, Beerus still defeats Vegeta in one punch, but acknowledges Vegeta's strength.
II. Vegeta evolves beyond Super Saiyan Blue
Against Jiren, Vegeta evolves and attains a larger form than his perfected version. This power does not come in response to wants, but to a need.
He doesn't care about the DragonBalls nor does he try to hunt down Goku. All he cares about is the promise he made to another Saiyan, the need to protect his universe. Vegeta was able to shock Jiren by hitting him in this state.
8. Super-Saiyajin-Gott
Super Saiyan God is a transformation that grants its user a God-level Ki and is considered more powerful than the Super Saiyan 3 transformation.
Vegeta displayed the ability to shapeshift into this form with no time limit. This form was also able to overcome the stamina issues that come with the Super Saiyan Blue form.
9. Golden Oozaru
This form is essentially a combination of Ape form and Super Saiyan. Gazing at the full moon in Super Saiyan form is a prerequisite for activation.
It is also believed that Super Saiyan 3 is necessary to achieve Golden Oozaru. However, Vegeta could still get it without having Super Saiyan 3.
10. Super Saiyajin 4
This is a dangerously powerful form, achieved by condensing all of Golden Oozaru's power.
Vegeta gains this power after using Bulma's Blutz Wave Generator after seeing Goku being beaten up by Omega Shenron.
11. Beyond Ego
Ultra Ego is Vegeta's strongest form to date. It allows its user's ki to become the same as that of a god of destruction. It is also considered the counter form and antithesis to Ultra Instinct.

Dragon Ball transformations get your adrenaline pumping. They're crazy, epic and ridiculous. The best thing about Vegeta is the way he never refuses to back down. He doesn't accept being a minor character.
He works hard and develops into one of the strongest characters, which makes him really inspirational.
